hahaha....

U know what I mean. I was just wondering coz at my local shop they have one with a clear coat neck, but the KH-602 at the 12th fret looks dodgy, so i was just wondering whether it was legit.

The 12th fret should have the skullys, the "kh602" would be at the 24th fret

:o sorry ment 24th. The Font was a helluva lot bigger than the one in the pic you posted, and the neck was clear. legit?

tough to say without seeing it, but why would someone bother making a non legit LTD...wouldn't you just make it an ESP?

A shop near me has a 202 with a satin neck. It's probably an 06'/early 07' model judging from the ESP (not EMG-HZ) pickups and actual black (not nickel) hardware. To my knowledge, there aren't any satin neck Ltd KH's.
Does that mean it's fake?

It's most likely a custom job in all honesty. Somebody just stripped the neck and ended up selling it to the shop or trading it in or something.

Bad part was that the guy at the shop didn't notice anything was amiss. And these guys are my local ESP dealer... *sigh*
