What do you call the binding style? And are the inlays MOP?

Why is the price close to $8000 for the blue one? What is so special about it?

Well first off it is a ESP CS guitar. And I think the scalloping, the flamed maple top and the thicker body add many more $$$.
Those Kiko's are two of my dream guitars.

are you talking about in place of an Ltd model? Edwards are higher quality than all Ltds including the deluxe series.

Pics of the SE. The first one produced by ESP after Kiko's own and used in photoshoots for ESP's catalogs, website, etc.
(Of course signed by Kiko as well - love it or hate it)

Beautiful guitar that one. If I decide I can be bothered waiting for a custom again I'll probably be getting something extremely similar to that Kiko SE.

I own an Edwards Sykes LPC.
Agreed, great guitars.

Right now, no. Nothing I play needs the extra 25-27 frets. However most solos I play do require 23-24 frets so the easy access is nice to have.
I'll be looking at ways to extend and get some use from the extra frets thou.
