I've recently bought 2 new amps. I couldn't decide between a Krank Revolution or a Line 6 HD147. So, instead of buying a respective cabinet I bought one of each head. My question is what is everyone's favorite 4x12? I'm totally open to suggestions. I'd really like something that accentuates treble, because my rythym tone is somewhere between Hetfield and Dime; however, I also do quite a bit of lead. That, and I also use a clean channel quite a bit. Thanks for any help!

A line 6 cab is going to work best with the HD147 for sure.

+1
not sure how the krank would sound through it though
its a stereo cab so you can run both heads through it if you wanted

The line 6 cabs IMO sound good with any head.

Either go with a good Line 6 cab, or a Mesa Boogie Standard Rectifier cab. Even though the Mesa is a bit pricey, its worth the $900 you'd pay for it.:)

I believe I'll probably go with the high-end Line 6 cab. I'm sure the Mesa cab is great, but if I'm going to drop 900 bucks on it, I'd probably spend another 100 and get the Krank Revolution cab to match the Rev. head.
That, and the HD147 has a fantastic speaker modeling feature, so I think the L6 cab is my best choice. Thanks

how about a 4x10? I think mesa do some... either that, or an open back, or 1/2 back, or something... well, that's IMO

try mesa and marshall, they're both priced pretty reasonable used, and you're bound to like one of the two

Or, if you're a little handy, get an empty cab and load them with any speaker you like. Mix speakers too. V30 and T-75 or T-100.
I have Marshall and Randall cabs.

I want one of these http://www.lopoline.com/catalog/item/3698267/4812537.htm & I'll stuff some L6 custom Celestions in it.
I'm always gassing for tweed, I just love the look.

Mesa Stiletto 4x12" w/Vintage 30s are pretty much that standard around here.

Are there any new cabs with EVM12L's?

I can only comment on two cab types that I've used extensively.
I used two Marshall 4x12s for years and I ditched them both for a single Mesa 4x12 recto. One of the Marshall cabs had Vintage 30s (as does the Mesa). I A/Bed them and the Mesa was fuller and tighter and had a lot more definition. I'm glad I ditched the Marshalls.
