Serials for Signature Series and custom shop KHs

Hi, guys wondering if you could help me. i just bought a KH-2 off a friend of a friend. I got it pretty cheap $400 and its dead mint, except for one thing it doesnt have a logo on the back saying whether its an older custom shop, or one of the newer signature series. The serial starts with a K, the guitar came with no COA but apparently there was one but the seller lost it when moving house. (Id post pics but my cameras not working atm :confused:)

K is one of the custom shops. I want to say Kyoto, but I might just be defaulting to the biggest city in Japan I think think of that starts with a K. Most if not all of the signature customs come out of the K shop. If it were a new "signature series" it would of started with an SS instead of a K.

The K stands for the Kiso shop. Get some pics up and we might be able to tell ya a little more about it.

I have a brand new Signature Series KH-3 and it begins with a K not SS.
