Doesn't have the original bridge. Looks like he purchased a new one (no more black hardware) from Kahler and slapped it on there. He claims it's a Floyd... but... uh...

I think his asking price is a bit high.

Yeah, the chrome Kahler looks really out of place, and purdy silly on this pig.

I would love a krackle vee though.

Oh man, that is Boxhammer - a former member here. I'd stay away from his auctions beause he tried to run a few scams on here. He tried to pass off an M-II as a KH-4 and a LTD DV8 as an ESP DV8 (just to name a few).

I am always a little apprehensive about auctions where the seller is trying to make it sound like he's selling you the greatest thing this planet has to offer.

"Holy cow!! I am totally selling this INSANELY RARE super mega fabulous ultra fantastic heavy metal collector guitar!!"

Nevermind the brief bio on Slayer

And that was the cheesiest eBay page I've ever seen. It still has a Kahler on it, not a Floyd you goddamn dingbat.

How much does these ESP KKV usualy go for? I know the Red Crackle KKV is around 4000 USD (if You can find one) but isn´t almost 2000 USD little bit too much for the black one? I mean, bolt on, mahogany, rosewood and not the original Kahler trem. Nah... They have (had??) 2 other ones up on the bay this week for less and I check out those instead.

Ok well being the SUPER SMART and TALENTED person that I am...I found something out.

The same guy has a different name in which buys all the guitars that he later sells for profit.

He bought that KKV for 850 here..
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=200206196542

He also bought a JH1 here
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290196648117

And sold it here..
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120221730950

Bought this Ephiphone Ace guitar here..
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150214081562

And probably added his smoking pickup kit and is selling it here..
http://cgi.ebay.com/Epiphone-Ace-Frehley-Les-Paul-SMOKING-GUITAR-Kiss-Fans_W0QQitemZ120240624682QQihZ002QQcategoryZ33037 QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Hes done that with a few Ace guitars..

Bought this RR1 here...
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160194311269

Sold it here..
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120216262305

Bought a gothic explorer here..
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300192136914

Sold it here..
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120218441700
He bought a warwick bass here..
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190188553097

And sold it here...
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120222690052

The list goes on and on...

Thank you thank you...please keep all the applause to yourselves.

He makes good money doing what he does, but asking $1,000 more than what he paid for that KKV is just ballsy. I emailed him asking him if its the same guitar, which obviously it is, but I just wanna see his response.

850 USD...? And now 2000 ??? Hmm...

His descriptions are so goddamn annoying.

I have had a lot of Gothic Explorers. I have a disease, people. In my search for the CLEANEST, Most COLLECTIBLE Gothic Explorer on earth, I buy just about everyone that comes on the market. Why you say? Because I strive to find the most collectible one on our planet. This one is in EXTREMELY Hard to find, Near New Condition. It has the plastic on the PickGuard, Truss Cover and even the rear Access Cover. The paint on the front top body and edges are NOT SHINEY from play. There is no buckle rash on the rear body and NO SHINEY SPOTS on the rear from rubbing on a shirt. There are NO DENTS, NO BUCKLE RASH AND NO SCRATCHES. That's great--but any REAL Gothic collector wants more. Are there any SHINEY SPOTS on the paint????!!! Hmmmmm.............

Answer: NO!

Can you find one cheaper right here on Ebay?? Sure you can. Will it be this clean?? NO! It will not be. You get what you pay for. Why not list it as PERFECTLY NEW?? Because nothing in life is perfect. This Explorer has one super tiny opps--and it is pictured below. There is a TINY TINY chip on the tip of the long fin. It is smaller then the head of a pen as you can see and the new owner can easily cover it up with a wood pen or even a black Sharpie pen. It is THAT minor and insignificant to this guitar. The Satin Matte Gothic Paint condition all over this guitar is what makes it a true collector version of this model. This is a rare find with the paint in this condition. When you pop the case, you'll think you woke up in 2001 and just bought this baby new. The Label is on the plastic that is still on the pickguard. OH MY GOD!! Pinch me, Im dreaming.

I am a very down to earth person. I put my pants on one leg at a time like everyone else. I am sincere when I say that if no one buys this guitar, I will keep it. I have no desire to see it go out of my collection. Heck, it took me about 8 years to find it! You'd think Id keep it a few years and rest. NOT ME!! I DONT REST--EVER! I find the coolest, rarest, most unique guitars on the planet. As you read this, the Explorer is sitting next to the cleanest Gibson Gothic Studio guitar on earth. Yes, I found the Cleanest one of those last year after 7 years of searching. That one is also listed on Ebay so CHECK MY OTHER AUCTIONS to see it if someone hasn't snatched it up yet.

The bios are always hilarious. Don't the people who click on an artist series guitar already know about the artist? Talk about a waste of space.

well, thanks to his sellings we have a detailed description of his low morals, lust for money, and also a detailed description of his bathroom, which in my opinion looks at the most tacky

Well I have to agree on his low moral and everything...

But you have to admit that he is quite good if he is able to make 1000$ on so many guitars !!

Personally I'm always amused by the seller that complains that there auctions don't go very high...
Doesn't surprise me wen you read auction like this :
"Ok you know what this is... the guitar is mint.
NO INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS. NO RETURN. ONLY BANK WIRE TRANSFER. DON'T ASK STUPID QUESTIONS."

and finally showing two crappy pictures of the guitar...

So I guess that this guy at least knows how to sell. It doens't mean that he is a good seller tho...

I dont follow how business and morals come into play. In far too many cases, the two have nothing to do with each other. Do we believe he is the only person on ebay buying guitars and flipping them for profit. What is immoral about that? Guitar Center will take a guitar for $100 on trade and put it on the wall for $800. That is called business. Buy low, sell high.

Here is a link to someone that bought a bass from the seller in question that ended less then a week ago and just relisted it for more money.

MORE MONEY:

I just pointed out the fact that he does it, and has two names on there. He makes lots of profit doing that, but I only stated that asking $1000 more than what he got it for was just being ballsy. Nobody wanted it before for even the price he paid for it and no one wants it now for some reason. He has it listed now for what he paid for it. Frantic said he got a totally different guitar than what was in the auction, which in my book is totally fucked up!
