I was actually going to post a review on this bass. I just played it in a music store in St Louis.

My god that thing was a beast. The pick ups were amazing. Picked up my sweeps amazingly. The neck was smooth and comfortable to play on.

It's got extra large frets, so if you stretch your fingers out alot, this isnt the bass for you.

Also its slightly heavy for a bass. I think my F-255 is abit heavier, but this is still something you'll need to buy a durable strap for.

KILLER bass the TA is...

It's one of the best tones I've gotten off a bass, really comfy, but yes, being all maple, it's quite heavy...

as far as tone, it sounds AWESOME if you like that modern, bright, punchy, tight tone the combination of EMG's+maple delivers... not really traditional-sounding at all, tho...
