First I would say that I think it's a poor design for a sig. A Great Britania sticker behind the bridge? WTF? Seems like he was in a hurry designing it. I'm a Bullet For My Valentine fan so I'm not dissing the guitar because of the band or anything..

Anyways, have anyone tried it? Is it much different from a Standard V or the DV8?

i haven't played it yet, but i think the same, i have a flag on my wall with the same BFMV-grafic on it and i like it. but on this guitar it looks boring.

i think the ltd version without the grafic is looking much nicer. i like the gun and rose inlay...

i looked out for that guitar at my guitar store, but they have no new 2008 sigs yet.

another funny fact is that he's not playing it live, i saw them on 10. february in cologne and he played a standard black v =)

he played the ESP sig with the flag when i saw them last week. i like the LTD better though. no flag.

agreed. the flag looks like a cheap sticker.

+1

I would expect it to be very similar to the DV8 since he was playing those before he got this. I seem to remember in an interview on ultimate guitar recently he said that he based it heavily on that and just added a couple of his own touches. Also at that time he hadn't actually recieved one for himself so that is probably why he hasn't played it much on tour yet.

guess it's just the design that's different from the DV8 then..If he where to change the neck etc I guess he would have a prototype before it was released to try it out.
