Maybe we could take up some action like calling(18004238388) or emailing ESP to try to encourage them to either A: release this in the U.S., B: Offer some way of for the U.S. customers to purchase this from a specified dealer, or some other way to allow those in America to get their hands on this BEAST!!! With business being more globalized ESP should start taking advantage of opportunities to sell more of their guitars!!!

If ESP is going to raise the price, they better offer better products that WE want!! We have many options and if ESP doesn't deliver.... then we can always choose an alternative to satisfy what we want. There are many people who high quality guitars at very reasonable prices!

6400 is a lot of cash!!! Updated 1st post. There are a lot of things I could do with that. hmmmmm... payments for new car, pay for college, buy top quality hookers, pick up the ultimate guitar rig, new macS, hmmmm many options ;)

The signature series are great guitars as well. But they shouldn't be in the customshop price range. I'm actually looking to unload my B7 cause I never play it.

I completely agree. With prices as high as they are-$4100 MAP for the Donais sig-I can't comprehend paying that much when a one-off custom is just a bit more than that. With the price jump this year, its time to seriously consider putting in a Custom order this year.

on a related note, if you ordered a copy of Steph's white 7-tele-bari, the retail is 7k. I was given a copy of his order for that guitar and used it as the base for mine. (I moved the neck pickup to the neck...lol and did mahog, not the alder)

So 7k compared to the now-stock sig model being 6+ kinda makes me think (or at least hope) it's a CS. That said, I ordered mine in early 07...the CS prices may have jumped just as much as the standard stock stuff. I.E. the retail on the custom today may be like 8 or 9...lol I don't know.

lol...it left Japan finally on the 29th of Feb. (A leap year guitar!)
It was supposed to arrive here by the 17th, which means it's stuck in customs right now, because as of today, ESP still doesn't have it. But it has hit the USA at least...

I am having them set it up like your namesake Devin's setup. (The GCGCGCE thing)

I am hoping it won't suck...it's so overdue now that really I've kinda lost interest in it. I am also going though elbow and wrist problems, so I don't even have a use for it right now since I can't play...lol (I had my elbow operated on just last nite.) But there's still that uncertainty now, hoping that it's like I ordered...lol

It's much better...they took a small fragment of bone out of my right elbow. Small stuff with minimal issue. But it was pinching something in the fracture and I had this feeling like hitting your 'funny bone'. But for about 7 weeks straight...lol Once this has healed a bit, I start therapy for my wrists again. :( I am not to play at all for the better part of 6 months. :mad: I have become one of those old dudes now preaching about taking care of your wrists and stretching/warming up... :)
