PIGWALK!

The F-400FM: Its a great guitar. Its definatley the bast flame-top I own. It has a lot of treble bite. very thrash-worthy. Neck is a little sticky, but you get used to it. Stays in tune good. Im planning on replacing the neck 81 with an 89 pretty soon, just like my F-2005.

It's actually feels pretty heavy. All mahogany.

Its relly reliable so if you like it, buy it, you wont regret it.

don't know the name of the finish...I just went to the shop and tried a few axes. this one was the best for me and my bad-mended wrist. it's a strange color because with dim light it looks more violet that blue

The entire band signed the guitar, and had a contest during a recent in-store meetand greet at Doc's Harley Davidson in St. Louis, Mo.Queensryche were in town with the "Heaven and Hell" Tour (Heaven and Hell, Alice Cooper and Queensryche).The grand prize was this beautiful guitar signed by my favorite band!

Hey everyone, new to the forum. Here's my LTD M100 click (http://s10.photobucket.com/albums/a116/kreugerburns/My%20Photography/My%20Room/?action=view&current=Bedroom008.jpg) I'm not sure of the specs of it everytime I've searched I only got the M100FM (although I'm guessing they're the same?) can anyone tell me the damn colour? In some light it looks greenish, sometimes gold and sometimes silver. I can't figure it out. I've put an SD Duncan Distortion into the bridge position and it now has silver knobs.

Viva 360, Out of the two M's you've listed, the 200fm is loads better than the 100fm, IMO. It plays better, feels better and looks cooler. The neck is a tad thinner on my 200fm and the fretwork is alot better. Love the coil tap too. It also costs around a $100 or so more.

If those are the two your considering then don't waste your money on the 100fm and save up for the 200fm, you get ALOT more for a little over $100...check the specs. FWIW, I think the MH's are better than both.

When dive bombing the high e string can get caught under the pick ups so when you release the arm it makes a twanging sound. The tap stops the strings from getting stuck.

I've noticed some people don't agree with my "tricks of the trade" but my bands live shows are pretty intense to the point we walk away bruised and bleeding. I'm NOT putting it on there cause it "lOOkz teh uLTiMAte in bROOTalz" like some people, it's there because it was a last ditch effort that worked.

Honestly I wish I could have a guitar with functional strap locks and no duct tape but I guess that's when I mellow out and stop jumping off speakers, crowd surfing, and whipping my guitar around like it's a pair of nunchucks.

Introduced late 2000. First in the 2001 Catalogue. Mine was a Discontinued model when I got it (2003 I think)...So i'm not sure what year it was made exactly. Specs are as 'Shreddy' said plus it has 1 Vol. and an EMG afterburner, no tone. Rosewood fingerboard. This was before the ltds came with decent brandname machine heads and pickups etc. so it has no name balck machine heads and came with EMG passive HZs.
