Believe it or not, that Vortex might be the easiest playing guitar I own. It's f'ing sweet. I like it a lot better than any Jackson RR that I've played. It's not neck (top) heavy like the Jackson's.

The RS-200 is actually black. I used to have the metallic purple RS, but sold it due to my OCD about black guitars (that's why the silver V-250 is covered with stickers). It took probably five years to track down a black RS in mint condition.

highly recommended, i see you already own an ec1000. i think the VB is the best looking of the bunch. my pictures are total bullshit and don't do it justice at all. i like the emg's, though, perfect for the style of abrasive technical metal that i play.

I get excellent cleans from my MH400NT using the neck pickup with the tone turned almost all the way down (probably 20k / 25k ohms). Hence, why I must always have both :)

i picked up an EX-50 around the first of april. it was a tide me over until i would get another M-II, which i already have now! its quite nice for being a lower model, and has very good pickups. the only mod i've done is a graph tech nut and threw on a .65 bass d string for the low e. overall, i'm happy with it!

but you have to think:
1. It has a 24 3/4 scale length which is more difficult to drop tune, if your into that.
2. Take some time to make sure its shape fits what you like.

So with that being said, yes it is a great guitar and i love mine, but make sure this is one you really want.

My first ESP/LTD and first guitar with FR tremolo. The tremolo was such a pain at first, as tuning was a pain and SamAsh charged me $50 bucks to change strings (i've learned to switch them out on my own sense).

i picked up an EX-50 around the first of april. it was a tide me over until i would get another M-II, which i already have now! its quite nice for being a lower model, and has very good pickups. the only mod i've done is a graph tech nut and threw on a .65 bass d string for the low e. overall, i'm happy with it!

yes...i mean having a dime sig and walking on stage is definitely going to be out of this world, but if you're only buying someone's sig to be them, it's pointless. it would be like dime buying a les paul with 3 pickups and trying to be like Ace Frehely. i guess what i'm trying to say is this: if you buy a sig guitar because of how it looks and who played it, to create your own style on, fine. but if you're buying it to play their riffs, to sing their lyrics, to play just like them, and try to be them, there is no point in buying the guitar.

I think that ESP went a bit happy with the abalone on your EC1000.

actually all the EC1K's are over board that I've seen. It just looks worse or overdone becuase the sun light and I had to adjust the color in the pic to match what the actual color is on the guitar. It's a real dark amber. Most are kinda light. But yeah, luckly you dont notice it on stage.

I learned how to read scratch off lotto tickets when I was working at a gas station. The $20 ones especially. I was GASing heavey for a V and I new the next ticket was a $500 winner. So I bought it.

This one is evidently a lucky find. The body is as thick as a normal LP and I'm assuming there's a legal reason why EC's are all skinny now (I don't like them like that myself). We had to swap the pickups for EMG's because these tended to feedback easily and Jim plays entirely too damn loud if can get away with it.

We're called Bombay Black. We've been pushed as "melodic rock" when we started but we've gotten heavier and moved away from the eighties style we first had. No, we're not a christian band. We're from Little Rock and have known those guys for a long while. I was playing with Jason in our first band (christian band, though I was a naughty one) when Lance was putting LS together (I think that's the stage they were in at that time). The last time I saw LS play was at Vino's with POD opening.

The armband? Academy Sports. Baseball department.

Nope, in hindsight I wish I would have saved for a couple more checks and got the ESP version. The quality is simply better. The frets were smoother, the board was polished,and the guitar overall had a "worn in" feel to it out of the box.

Nowthat I have had the LTD for awhile and it's getting worn in, not an issue. Plus it was way cheaper. At the time...

KH-203, picked it up on eBay last week.

gotta admit the headstock makes me sick, but the thing plays itself. will be throwing an 81 and 85 in there soon enough. set up with DR Black Beauties 11-50's and dropped it down to C. evil sounding...

been looking for a LP with a floyd rose FOREVER! settled on this because of the price. i guess i can live with the retarded headstock for now. can't afford a custom Eclipse with the floyd unless i start whoring myself out to fat chicks........again.

the knobs are black pearl tops. i throw them on all my black geets. except for the jackson dinky, i used white pearl top. i think they look good

LOL Why doesn't ne1 like the headstock!?!?! I love the melody maker body and the stark contrast of the floyd rose and emg's! I just picked up this 2007 KH-603 last Saturday and I love it!!! Sorry to see its not going to be made any more :(

and does anyone know where I can get black humbucker trim for my bridge pickup? Only place I could seem to find em is Ebay and its mostly neck pickup trim.. The top of the trim somehow busted off with the previous owner
