i actually prefer the inlays on the ax/f bass. i really love it when it looks killer. well... thats when ur playing metal... but if u play blues or jazz.... it really... really doesnt fit. I actually love the f bass (want to buy one) but if i ever buy a bass i would like to play blues or jazz... and that really doesnt fit.

I would if I could, but at the moment I can't. A friend of mine does have a complete studio, but he's tough to get a hold of. I'll see what I can do ;)

As for picking, initially, it was a little weird, but manageable. I dropped it down maybe 1/16" after bringing it home and its completely out of the way. I'm actually thinking about bringing it back up just a bit.

The selector is fantastic IMO. Really easy to get to with your pinky and solid engagement. Unfortunately, there isn't a substantial differentiation between the middle and bridge pickups unless you change your picking dynamics. I've found myself a couple of times wondering my tone is "off" only to find I'm on still on the middle pup.

the F-104 is alright... I've played one, it's on-par quality-wise with my B-155, they're good bang-for-the-buck basses as well, but I dunno... I guess this is my biased opinion, but the B doesn't really get that much action because the 205 owns it in pretty much every aspect...

Nah had to get them proffesionally changed and the mustaine set came with a four pot set up so it had to be changed to a 2 vol, 1 tone. For me its more of a rhythm guitar, has alot deeper lower tones then the emg and fair bit more balls, but on the other hand the notes on the higher strings arent as good as the emgs. but i use both in my home studio for the different things so im happy. I actually prefer passive pick ups over active as they suite the style i play.

here is mine, a EC-1000 Deluxe. It's actually what they call a "factory second", but I liked it better than the regular one, it just got that "thing" and got a better vibe! And the finish is nicer to me too! Love it to death!

Thanks fot the nice comments! I think that ESP/LTD with a Mesa is a match made in heaven(or hell maybe?). Not only it's really good for metal but the Roadster is a really versatile map and you can play anything with it. Quite expensive thought, but worth it!

I love it, the only thing I wish was different about it is that it was neck thru instead of set, but I'm not gonna complain, I only paid $230 like new.

So lucky. I walked into guitar center one day and did a double take because the one near me doesn't carry any esps (do any of them?) and I put that thing on layaway, went home, got my old bass traded in and paid for it the next day.

And on top of that I've just aquired an ampeg 8x10 from a very generous friend. check out the gear thread on the equipment forum if you want to see all of my stuff.

Picked up a new Viper-400 today. ;D SOOOO sweet! I played a Viper-200 and it felt like garbage compared to the 400, so I ponied up the dough, only $499!. My MH-250NT surprisingly feels A LOT like the Viper-400 does...except the pups are hotter on the Viper. The MH-400NT doesn't feel a dime better than the 250, but for some reason the difference between the Viper 200 and 400 was night and day. The RG is gonna get sold... floyd rose is a pain in my ass, single coil can kiss my ass, and the neck feels clunky as hell now. These LTD's just destroy that RG. IDK... on to the pron.

how'd you get a viper with chrome hardware? I was going to buy a viper and put chrome hardware on it. I think it looks way better that way. Nice guitars. I played the MH250 and compaired it to the MH400 and didnt notice that big of a difference. Other than pickups but I dont like EMGs anyway. Duncans rule.

The sun is shining outside today so thought I could test my new cellphone and see how the camera is in sunlight (Samsung U600 if any1 cares).
Noticed I rly rly suck at taking pictures and I do need a proper camera XD

Bought it from my bandmate in mind condition a couple of months ago when he bought his ESP Eclipse CTM 1 VTB. Now I have eclipse gas of doom xD Was a pretty noticable upgrade from my Ibanez RG370DX.
I'm rly rly pleased with this guitar, it has a nice feel and everything. Not to heavy either. EMG 81/85 combo which I rly like.

It´s a master of puppets flag. You can get them in merchandise shops or on ebay. Just search for "master of puppets flag".

I actually got that at a big rockfest thing in Des Moines called Water Stock Rock, it was at a poster selling tent. I had a choice of either that or Cowboys From Hell, but MOP appealed more to meh
