hey has ne1 here bought it in canada in 2008? cuz from l.a. music in toronto, it is 445 online but would this price be only for the fact that they are pre 2008 models?i dunno if the new 2008 models have come in yet and if they raised the price too

I would advise against that guitar. Agathis + single EMG HZ ripoff + generic, crappy hardware = not worth the money. If you like those guitars, then either save up for the Alexi 600 (at least it has much better wood and hardware quality) or do what I'm doing and hit GuitarJapan.com up to get them to import an Edwards E-RV-148. Much better quality overall, and MUCH better pickups, plus there's two of them.

DO NOT BUY. Save up for the 600 or as maffropetee said, get the edwards RV-148.

its not agathis, it's basswood.

i think the Edwards E-RV-148 comes with EMG HZ pickups.
