Hey, I have an Ibanez RG-470 and the bridge that came stock with it (LO TRS) is all fucked up, so I bought a replacment on ebay, exact same bridge. Well I don't want to pay the guy at the shop to install it, cause I know he'll charge me another 70.00 bucks, so I guess I was just wondering if these are hard or risky to install yourself? I also got a replacement neck with none of the parts (i.e. nut, tuners, string tree) so I'm just going to take off the other ones from the old neck, this shouldn't be a problem to switch correct? I was specifically worried about the nut.

You can leave your old neck on, unless there's something totally wrong with it. As for the bridge, it's easy. Just take your strings off, take the springs out of the bottom of the block. Pull the whole bridge out, put the new one in, set your intonation (after you get some strings back on ;), and you should be good to go. Nothing to it.

Cool, well I'm going to give it a shot, as far as the neck, I had a severely dented fret that causes mega buzz, and I got a neck for like 40 bucks so I just want to switch it out, but I do need to switch the tuners, nut, string tree, this shouldn't be too difficult shoud it? The neck I got is new, so I shouldn't have to worry about truss rod adjustment correct?

should be fine just swap hardware and check the neck relief after you tune up and play for a bit.

it should be a fairly simple process you might need to set the intonaton if it hasnt been set. But otherwise it should be pretty easy.
