I am looking for a Jeff Hanneman esp ltd 200. I was told if it was made in Indonesia that it is junk. The Korean made guitars are made alot better, although I would rather buy american.. I am looking at the guitars on ebay cause I can't find a guitar shop in Michigan or ohio that have them in stock. When i call these stores from ebay theu don't know a frickin thing about guitars. Any help would be appreciated..

I'm 99% sure that the JH200's are made in China now, same with the KH202's.

If I'm not mistaken, ESP is made in Japan, LTD Korea, and anything lower than a 600 model is Chinese.

I heard to stay away from the guitar that are made in china or indonesia. does anyone know the truth to that. I was told that they are made very cheaply, and that the korea guitars are made much better. I am pretty new to playing, so do you think i would even notice the difference??
thanks
Maybe buy from a place with a good return policy so if you don't like it, you can return/trade it on a 600 and up series. I like to test guitars out on my own amp/gear.

Lower than 400 is either Indonesia, China, or Vietnam now. All 400 and 500 series' are made is Korea.

There's always DCGL (http://www.drumcityguitarland.com/drumcitygl/stores/1/LTD-SIGNATURE-SERIES-JH-200-Jeff-HannemanSLAYER-wKahler-X-Trem-6-String-Electric-Guitar--P484C430.aspx).
Edit: Didn't really answer your question, but if you can't find one, you can order from there. Great service, and they hook you up with a lot of goodies.
