Does anyone know much about ESPs history?

What is it about ESP that separates it from other companies?

esp makes great metal guitars, there made better than pretty much any brand out there. Necks are fast , great electronics and he quality all around in unbeatable by and brand out there. ESP is the metal standard now

and lastly they give us what we want and prices are good

What I know about esp history is that it was a small custom shop noone ever would have noticed, if it wasnt that on some beautiful day, a strange looking guy called Kirk Hammet walked through its doors and ordered himself a custom.

Oh yeah, and for me the feel of an esp standard is soo much higher than of a jackson in its price range (and even jackson custom... maybe its only that I hate that hideous headstock). And of course quality and all that shit, you get what you pay for.

You should check out George Lynch's video on the ESP website. He tells his relationship between him and ESP. Nice little tidbits. Not much history, but the man's been with them for over 2 decades.
