Hey, ive searched to forums couldnt find the answers so here goes, would it possible to have a the custom shop make the mana guitar, from Malice Mizer? I know that they are produced in Japan, however, they dont produce the blood splattered version. Idk if mana has a lock on the design or anything like michael amott. I'm saving up for a custom shop ESP, i assume that it would cost a ton but im not sure if they would even be willing to make it. your thoughts?

The bloody one is in this live video

The blood one is very new, from my understanding. It could be produced down the track, time will tell

To answer questions I guess, I'm pretty sure the bloody one is a one off thing. I dunno, I didn't watch the video, but he's had it since atleast Scars of the Sabbath was released, so it's decently old ('02, 03', something like that.)

And I agree, the blue quilt he used to play back in Malice Mizer days was definitly my favorite.

Just checked out the Jap site, seems Kozi has a new sig too, cool stuff.

Ah, I stand corrected. Recently I saw a section of blood spatter model from an artist but I can't recall who's it was :o It was in the background of a workshop photo from late last year

Some of the Japanese customs are more of a work of art than anything. I think some are very impressive while others..well..not so much. 8o

Anchangs black Star is pretty cool, but Panter's are just gay.

Agian, most of them aren't that bad. Kozi's new sig and IKÜZÖNE's are pretty much the worst of em.

That Everlasting K thingy is really a beauty
Would be better without the logo

Oh come on, at least when the japanese artists are given a signature model they really make it their own, all the signature models here in america are all the same, they just take pre existing bodys and change the paint and hardwear, nothing special. japanese artists make it unique and artistic, they actual create a new piece of musical art, they dont just modify or replicate. American artists and consumers dont like change, they like what they are used to, yet if you go to japan artists arent trying to be like each other, they want to stand out. look at these beautiful guitars.

^I like all of them but the tetsu bass, and thats mainly cause of the color scheme and the way the body juts out at the input jack. I like that Kozi model better then his new one, but still not one of my favorites.

I'm personally a big fan of a lot of the Japanese sigs. Some of them are just "uh...OKAY THEN" but a lot of them are especially choice, like Sakito's (Nightmare) SHORYUKEN. I'm personally, not impressed really with any of the American sigs. The extent of it here seems to be "Stick camo on it" or something totally unoriginal like that (not that camo is bad, I'm just making an example).

Personally if I made a custom and money was no concern I'd make something bizzare like that yet totally 'my own'. That's the point.

i did some searching and came up with a picture of the guitar that i was originally talking about. Whoever is familiar with the custom shop could you please give me some information regarding just how expensive it would be for this guitar to be custom ordered. THANKS

You might want to ask someone familiar with ESP Japan, since several models of the Jeune Fille are available there. At the least if they can't make you a version of it you can buy one go through the tough process of importing one and then modifying it. (Good luck on the white EMGs though lol).

a local store nearby here is selling white emg's. they're not that rare.

Must me more common than I thought then. I know someone else on this forum has them on his guitar.

Did you try the bmusic forums? Seems those are fairly knowledgeable about the Japanese goings on with ESP while still speaking English. Some users on there with quite a few guitars from the Custom Shop.

Japanese sigs: sometimes ugly but at least they're willing to try a bunch of different things. Seems a majority of the US market sigs are strats, Vs or Eclipses in comparison.

Seems like if anything you'd be paying a lot of money just for the paint job since didn't they used to make an all white one just like it a while back?

the new white model with the kahler is like 8,500 dollars, so it'd be more expensive than that, the black one with the floyd is like $5k.

btw that one is just the original Jeune Fille "blanche" (white) with blood splatter on it, so you could theoretically just get the blanche and do the blood yourself if you had to.

EMG makes pickups in black, ivory and white (and red for ESP at some point) and is coming out with chrome/nickel and gold ones soon...

well, sig guitars are just the artists dream instrument, not yours, no matter how it looks like.. remember that:p

But man, cmon, elipses and horizon's look better than those vomit piles :p

Going to take a guess and say somewhere between $6000-$8000. I know that's a wide range, but hey, if you're already spending that much money....

And I absoulutely love Kaoru's Ganesa models.
