LTD Deluxe Series

i am thinking about getting a ltd deluxe, so if you have one please post all of them.
i wanna see pics and tell me your opinion about them. i searched for some threads here on the board and found a few but there were not enough pictures. i'm espacially looking for the viper-1000 and the m-1000 but you can post every deluxe you have.

Hey man i got a MH 1000. It's fucking amazing guitar. And as many say, this to me is "Pure Sex" to play. I can't post pics right at this moment...but i will.

The neck is unbelievble, it's ridicuosly smooth and with the Sperzels i've never had a hassle with tunings even though mine is tuned to C F Bb Eb G C with 11-56's.

And i was double-stoked when i got mine for a real steal at $1500AUS brand new from my local store, They retail for around $2300 i think???

Not sure what the USD and AUSD exchange is, but its around 1000 USD.

damn flames, i paid $1700 with a case for mine, though that was a good 2-3 years ago. He's right though dude, the deluxe series are friggin great bang for buck guitars. Go look in the post your ltd section bud, there's heaps of deluxe's in there.

yeah thats a great deal aswell man, i didn't get a case for mine but i'm gonna get one sent from a mainland store soon..I'm paranoid, it's in a gigbag at the moment. lol

btw cap, what finish is your's mine is dark sunburst?

yeah thanks, sounds good for the moment. in germany i have to pay around 1.000 euros for a deluxe series ltd (ca. 1.470 usd without a case), for example the viper 979 euros and the m-1000 ca. 1.099 euros. i know thats a high price but the exchange rate is so fucking worse, but if i buy one in the us i would pay a little less. i saw a viper-1000 on ebay a few hours ago for 800 usd and shipping to germany 129 usd and this would be only 562 euros...and that's ca. 55%

and with tax it is around 750 euros, so i could save around 250 euros, but i don't know about shipping damage, it is only in a paperbox (i don't know if it is the right word in english, in germany we say "pappkarton" )

i played the viper-1000 and it felt so fucking great, but i have an esp truckster and i don't know if i am going a step back when i buy a ltd. but i am not one of those that say ltd is firewood. as i said the viper felt so great and i am very interested in the m-1000 too, because i like the finish. reminds me to the ESP KH-20.

so if you can post some pics of your ltds and i am happy to get more reviews and comments about ltd. maybe here is some that got ESPs and LTDs and could tell me about the quality differences.

Can't go wrong with the Deluxe series. I have one of the early EC1000 STBC's when they came w/ dual EMG 81 pups. Got tired of the sound though and was longing for a warmer Les Paul "Guns n' Roses" kind of sound so I just took out the EMG's last night and am installing a hot rodded Seymour Duncan combo. JB in the bridge and a Jazz in the neck.

Yeah you can't go wrong with a deluxe series man. No way is it a step back, it's a class guitar, that's why lots of top bands endorse LTD's.

mines the all black mh-1000 with emg's, very nice indeed she is, ill put some pics in here when i get home

thanks again for the pics. awesome guitars. i really love that finish. i think the see through finishes are the advantage of ltd. when i buy an esp (except the custom ones) i can only choose between black, black, camo, urban camo, black, black...and...black.

i think i will play some ltds again and then ... ... ... i'll buy it.

but perhaps i have the chance to get a gibson explorer gothic II with emgz. then it'll be a hard decision.
