Hey folks. I just recently dove into the world of ESP by buying an Eclipse II a few weeks back. She's in VHB finish with EMGs, so she's got some pretty nasty tone to her. I decided to take the plunge after my buddy bought an LTD EC-1000... I was pretty impressed with it so I decided to get my own (though I wanted the full-fledged ESP model). Anyway, I love the hell out of it.
Oh, and I've got a question for anyone owning a satin finish Eclipse... Is there anything special you do to clean/maintain your finish? I've been lurking around the boards for a while now, and I've seen a few complaints of shiny areas on satin finishes in places where your arms/hands rest against the guitar. I was just wondering if there's some trick to prevent this, other than just wiping it down with a soft rag after playing it. I've never owned a satin finish guitar before, so I have no idea.
Anyway, here's a few pics...
