I am not going to lie, I am a little disappointed that the iPod touch was only a max of 16GB. At the same time, I called the price. I knew they couldn't offer it as a replacement to the now deemed iPod classic. No way it would be that cheap.

At the same time, I like the iPod refresh and must get my hands on one. It has a nice look to it, and I think its a great compromise with the cover flow added. I also like the 30 hours of battery life. That is fanfuckingtastic.

I think the nano was one of the best updates though. Even though I have seen pics of it for a while now, it still looks great. I think its a huge improvement from the old awkwardly skinny nanos.

+big for all the features it has it still won't be as popular as the ipod classic for that reason.

Though all in all I'm satisfied. Will defiantly be picking up one of the 80gb ones when my pay comes in at the end of the month.

Yea dissapointed w/ the storage of the Touch im sure they will improve it most likley will pick up a 8gig nano to go w my 5TH GEN 60gig.

To be honest, I was disappointed with the new iPods. Some cool features, but nothing that stood out, other then the $200 price drop on the iPhone. I guess thats what I get for being an early adopter.

Yeah they are clearing them out at $299 and discontinuing them. It's funny to me the 4GB iPhone had a 68 day life cycle....LOL

Get one, I love mine!!! I am not that upset that I paid $599 for the 8GB, but obviously if I could have gotten it cheaper in a couple months later I would have waited. But I have no regrets! When I went to Maui, it was a life saver. On the plane it kept me occupied with movies, and music. On the island access to the internet, free wifi at certain place, email, and google maps was the bomb, when I was looking for places to eat, and trying to get directions!!!

I was very much dissapointed when they announced that the touch will only be in 8g or 16g. I was going to use the touch as my excuse not to buy an iPhone, but with that low of storage, I think I would rather pay the extra 100 bucks and get the phone and texting feature.

Other than that, the refresh was amazing. I love the new nano and the iPod classic is even better than it's already awesome previous state. Can't wait until they refresh the macbooks and macbook pros :)

The 5.5 version is still great then... :D

And somehow the exterior look of the new iPod is rounder and resembles the older version a lot more to me... :p

Yeah, the older revision battery life sucks...

Especially for wathcing videos, but for music solely, it's enough for a day's worth...

I listen to mine most of the day in the office and the battery is usually dead the day after if I didn't plug it in when I got home.

The Second picture is the new nano.

My 3rd Gen I had to keep plugged in at work. The 5.5gen I just got is much better, but the 6th gen I could probably go the whole week. What do these batteries last, like 500 charge cycles? If I only had to charge it once per week, it would last me a long time.
