Well, basically i got back from Lanzarote around a week ago, and it has taken around a week to get all my images uploaded to my photobucket. Still got a few to go, but heres some of the most important.

Firstly:
Those of you who dont know Lanzarote is basically one giant set of volcanoes...so thers large caverns just about everywhere...

Well, for the fishing...went on a two day trip. First day was suposed to be trawling for Blue Marlin, but we spent 7 hours trawling and got absolutely nothing. The next day we were supposed to be fishing for Shark, which included Hammerhead, Thresher, Blue, and Bull Sharks...all of these never even got spotted either. We spent the whole time until midnight (prime shark time) sitting off the boat just pulling in these 1ft little peckers. Towards the end of the night i hooked a large Baracuda (but it was caught in the flesh, not hook in mouth...so it was able to swim away and battle me like a mother fucker!) After pulling those in...my arms were dead! Strong fuckers!!!

cool pics dude. i went ther a couple of years back. that place where the pool is in the cave is awsome. theres an awsome swimming pool in there too. did you go to the highest point on the island with the look out spot ontop of the cliff? damn that was pretty scary.

I was going to do that (look out from the highest point of the island) but ther was better shit to do than spend an hour + driving there...

This is supposed to be the secret of the Island:

They take you through 7KM of caves, and then you reach the "upper gallery" and you are told that they have recently discovrd this place and that subsequently there is no rail surrounding the giant pit into the depths of the caves...so you are told that you cant use and lights, cameras or anything that could throw off someones concentration and could cause them to fall in...The guide also states that this place has excellent acoustics. So she took a big stone and asked us all to be really quiet. She throws it into the giant crater...and you hear a SPLASH! The giant "hole" into the center of the caves was really just a reflection on water which has really high levels of zinc and calcium in it so its really soft water and looks unreal!

Damn cool cave, and I love spelunking. We do it locally here for fun, but those cave you where in out shine the ones we have around here BY FAR. Well there is this one I'm thinking about going in. You have to go with a guide and have to repel down over 30 meters to the cave floor. Well worth it to see untouched formations. Most caves I go in now have been raped of all there mineral formations. |I
